How to Get to Belize City



Belize City is approximately 9 miles (14.5 km) from Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE).



Taxis are affordable and easy catch to get around in the city, with drivers eager to offer helpful information. Taxi fare is general $50bze ($25us). Just look for green license plates.



There are two local Commuter airlines, Tropic Air and Maya Island Air, are good options for flying in to the area.



With numerous Car rental companies to choose from, driving to Belize city is easy. Just head south on the Phillip Goldson Highway, also known as the Northern Highway for about 15 mins. drive.
